Ramarcha Puja is one of the Hindu religion’s most important rites. Ramarcha Puja, according to Hindu holy traditions, includes a recital of the Ram Katha and Ram Dhun, as well as devotion to Lord Rama and his four incarnations (avatars).

It is said that devotees who do Ramarcha Puja and worship Lord Rama with dedication would have their desires granted.

How to perform Ramarcha Puja?

  1. Set up a Ramarcha puja Vedi (platform) with rice, kumkum, Diya (earthen pot lamp), oil, cotton, dhupbatti, flowers, and so on.

  • Murthi of Lord Rama is next washed in a copper jar with water and milk, and vastra (dress) and jewellery are presented to him

  • After then, priests and worshippers chant ‘Ram Katha’ and ‘Ram Dhun’ for hours, worshipping Lord Rama with Vedic mantras.
  • Lord Hanuman is worshipped after the Ramarcha Puja is completed. The installation of Lord Hanuman’s ‘pataka’ is part of Lord Hanuman’s devotion.
  • Lord Hanuman, also known as Pavan Putra, is Lord Rama’s most ardent follower. Those who worship Lord Hanuman are considered to get prosperity, tranquilly, happiness, strength, and bravery.
