Broken Glass as per Hindu Beliefs

In Hindu beliefs, shattering glass has always been associated with bad luck and foreboding warnings of the coming occurrence of something horrible. It is also believed that when someone breaks a glass, their soul is imprisoned inside the glass in numerous spots.

On the other hand, it is also believed that if glass breaks accidentally in your home, it means that good fortune is on its way. However, this is not true if  one intentionally breaks the glass.
