She went on to tell that she once traveled out of town to start her next album while Stokes stayed at home owing to the actors’ strike. When she returned, she was surprised to see her car windows tinted. Ballerini stated that she inquired about it with Stokes, who responded:
“You do need to be safe.” I’m concerned about your safety.”

Ballerini previously married Morgan Evans for nearly five years before announcing their divorce in August 2022.
Four months later, they formalized their divorce. Both musicians have attacked each other in their music after their breakup.
In September 2022, the Australian native released his latest track, “Over for You,” in which he implied that he was stunned by the divorce.

Meanwhile, Stokes was previously linked to Outer Banks co-star Madelyn Cline from June 2020 to November 2021.
