What to do in case of the Lighted Lamp Falls During Hindu Puja?

In many Hindu communities, the falling of the lamp during Hindu puja ritual is considered inauspicious.

Remedies to overcome problems due to falling lamp during the pooja ritual

• The devotee should perform Shanti puja for the atonement and redemption and avert any untoward incidents in the future, which could have resulted from the falling of the lamp.
• The Shanti puja involves offering prayers to Lord Ganesha and to the deity to whom the puja was offered when the lamp fell. Through the pooja, the devotee asks for forgiveness.
• The devotee should do Annadanam or food donation after such an incident, which will help in averting all future troubles that could have resulted from the accident.
