According to Hindu scriptures, Nirjala Ekadashi is the most significant and significant of all the twenty-four Ekadashis. Nirjala literally means “without water,” as its name suggests. As a result, on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, devotees observe a dry fast, not eating or drinking anything.

Nirjala Ekadashi Rituals
