Shasti 2022 Dates: Sashti Vratam Calendar in 2022
The Hindu calendar’s Shasti, or Sashti, is a significant day related to Lord Muruga. In the Hindu calendar, Shashti occurs on the sixth day of every lunar fortnight. Lord Subramanya or Murugan worshippers choose the Shasti that falls during the declining phase of the moon for fasting. In a month, there are two Sashti, and Skanda adherents maintain a partial or full fast on the Shashti following the new moon (Amavasya).
