Rules of Chanting the Gaja Lakshmi Mantra
• Chant the mantra for 16 consecutive days.
• During the chanting days, the house must be maintained tidy and clean.
• All trash should be taken out of the home.
• In the puja room, hang a picture or photograph of Gaja Lakshmi.
• You should contribute food on one of the 16 days and perform Annadanam.
• A fruit-bearing tree seedling should be planted and cared.
- During any four days of the 16-day chanting, prasad using wheat should be prepared.
