Who is Temba Bavuma?

Tamba Bavuma is an accomplished cricketer who came into this world on May 17, 1990, in the South African province of Langa. From a young age, his parents encouraged his passion in cricket. His mother, Phumza Bavuma, is a popular subject of his Instagram posts, which he uses to great effect. Many of the remarks are touching and full of good wishes for the captain and his loved ones.

He finished eleventh in the league in run scoring in his second season with Supersport (2011)–2012, when he scored 637 runs at an average of 53.08. In 2012–2013, he competed in what is now the Sunfoil Series, however, he had a worse average of 31.58 and finished in seventh place. He climbed to sixth spot among Sunfoil Series scorers in 2013–14 with 714 runs scored at an average of 39.66.

Temba Bavuma’s wife’s name is Phila Lobi. News 24 reports that in August of 2018 in Franschhoek, Temba wed his beautiful wife, Phila Lobi.

Despite spending much of their early years apart because of Temba Bavuma’s travels, the couple has been together for nearly a decade.
